Good games tonight guys, eventhough we had some very unlucky tanks (right at the start and so on) eventualy one group of survivors made it to the end of the level (the last level of blood harvest even!)

To top off a great night i even got my L4D players badge! :woot2:

Now that part might be a bit hard. Anyone care to provide some target practice tomorrow so i can practice this pouncing bit? :norty:

Just got off Meatlocker with a group of about 6-7. Was good fun. Having two servers now will means there's enough space to keep even more people interested.

Was great until Steam threw a fit and locked me out. Still some laughs up to that point.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Jabbs

I need more practice too (especially with Hunter).

As for comms I was reluctant to do too much due to All Talk being on.  How can we (as zombies for instance) develop a strategy when the other team are able to hear what we decide?

Or am I being blond? :D

Zombie strategy doesn't need a lot of comms tbh.

Here's my take on basic Zombie tictacs ...

General:

Let the boomer do his thing before attacking as a hunter/smoker. Pounce/tongue any unvommed (new word) survivors.
Watch for a regular lone-wolf amongst the survivors and focus on their position.

Boomer:

Do not spawn until you have to. Get ahead of the survivors and find a spot where you can spawn at the very last second before the survivors are too close to do so - then unload.

Hunter:

Pounce from a height to inflict more damage. Target lone-wolves, standing survivors and the non-greens. If your first pounce misses then leap away and try again. Remember to look up to gain height with your take off.

Smoker:

Do not spawn until you have to. You are the sniper in the zombie squad and, unlike the Boomer, you work best from the back of the action. Watch the pack and pick your target carefully.

Liberator

TANK:

SMASH, MASH, BASH.

Once the current target is down, move on.

And remember to always go for the weakest!
