New Maps Plz!!!

Ok, we haven't had any new maps in rotation for quite a while now, and what appened to Smilo's themed map nights?

My suggestions for the rotation:

de_predator
de_volare
de_remy

I know predator may seem a bit odd as its a film one but its an excellent map works really well.

Volare purely for the visual alone should be put it, agreed it gets a bit cramped with a full server but the way it auto kills afk CTs as well is also a bonus!!!

Finally remy, good playability and visuals. That's my 2 pennorth neways. Now where's my stick to beat Smilo into action....

We've had Preditor and Volaer on the server in the past year actaully, I like both but wouldn't have Volvare back, too buggy, the sound is screwed. Predator is a good map.

Never tried Remmy, I look forward to d/ling it.

Thanks for your input A Twat. The reason for the lack of new map additions to the rotation has been that the admins have been up to other more prioritized things e.g. this new forum and the LAN in October.

Regarding the maps that you suggest we have had both predator and volare in the rotation. I agree with you that they are visually beautiful maps but they doesn't seem to work very well in PCS regard.

The third map de_remy I only know by name but can't remeber the layout of it.

There will be a map testing later on but right now the admins have their hands full.

Would apreciate it if you corrected your Type when spelling my name though it does appear to be a forum fault, when I typed in T W I G it ended up with T W A T. Odd, OB WHATS GOIN ON?  :huh:    :angry:

"A Twat"  Thats a bit harsh Sadako. It was a reasonable question and I know 2 of the maps he mentioned have been in the rotation previously but look when the lad joined and you may find it was after they were voted off. If you want to recommend maps the procedure is (I believe) to pm Tealeaf with your recommendations.

I should add that we have been patiently waiting for 1.6 to drop on the mat before making any map changes.

There didn't appear to be much of a gap between Summer holidays and the LAN so I thought I'd wait till October before firing up the Theme Night idea again.

If anyone wants to go for it now then fill your boots, otherwise I'll try to sort something out for Mid October (post LAN)
