I just realised that they charge €60 for the game on Steam. 60?! I know, it is brand new n all, but that is 5-10 euros too much. Even less of a reason to get it...

You can't choose to which server you join? so no use buying it...
"Even in a justified war, only one place there is for the dead; if someone loses - it\'s only you. Prime Ministers leave without a scratch - when everything ends they mourn the people; but I want to live on and mourn them"

I think if they haven't added dedicated servers to MW 2 by the time the new Battlefield comes out people will stop caring and spend their money on that. I love Battlefield 2 way back when broadband was optional, I had it but some of the ping you could see then were incredible), if they make the new one half as fun then we've got a new game for DMW.

Top Article was a good one, explained things well and really showed how much IW are out of touch with the PC gamers.

What interests me also was how they were saying that there will be a 5 second delay to find a better host if the originator leaves, of which you can not opt out! so depending on your ISP, you might be breaching your T&C's, not to mention the host has a ping advantage :sideways:.

This, taken from Lex's link, shows how much input they have put into the PC version:

"Moriarte: Ignoring IW.net, is the PC version a direct port of the console version?

Mackey-IW: No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings.
This is the amount of work that went into the PC version: you are given the ability to use a mouse, to use text chat, and to adjust graphical settings. Are your fears now put to rest?"

I for one am not going to buy it until they pull their finger out and fix it! :ranting2:

That comment really destroyed them :roflmao:
All over the interwebs people are falling apart due to that comment.

What about keyboard support?!

L4D2 is looking like the best buy ever in comparison to MW2... (hint hint, buy it instead!)

Some say IW have reinvented the mouse!

IW needs to reinvent the brain for their developing division.
Since im quessing they are just gona dig their grave pit into a bottomless hole if this kinda of responses are gona come out of IW:roflmao::lmfao:.
And it might even help them realise that dedicate servers are the only thing that made MW what it is today.
