I'll post it here first. As of now I am retiring from the post of Section head (racing) in order to spend more time with my family. It's been fun, but these old bones can't take any more. OldBloke will doubtless have someone in mind to take over. Thanks for putting up with my domineering ways for so long. :byebye: I'll post in the open forum when a successor has been appointed

Thanks for the contribution to the community Ron and I hope things pan out well for you and that we still see you on the servers.  You've put in stalwart effort over the years and it has been appreciated.

I can only echo those sentiments and add my thanks for all your assistance in helping us run this community. You will be a tough act to follow that's for sure.

Gosh! the end of an era

Thanks Ron for all your efforts in creating what we have and for inviting me into it. I'm sorry to see you step down and hope your successor can keep the racing section as active as you have.

I hope you're going to stick around though.

Penfold

Echoing t'others really.

Thanks Ron for all the hard work and dedication over (god knows) how many years.

I'm presume you'll still be on the servers and sniffing around here.

All the best

It's like Murray Walker retiring:crying:

Like others have said, your work is worthy of praise, and the manner in which you wanted things done made the dMr servers rightly some of the most popular around.

I'm not a racer, but I feel your pain lads:crying:

More time for other games now then, eh Ron?:flirty:

Agreed with what has been already said.  Thanks for making dMr what it is and for inviting me into this fine community, always a friendly place to race and to talk with and make new friends, we have you to thank for that. Sad day for dMr indeed, but you gotta do what you gotta do.  Great to hear we will be still trading paint with you on the track :)

Cheers Ron
