As per the post in the forum, what are your guys thoughts?

Personally I see no issue as long as they represent the community and I'd suggest that anyone who plays with the wings needs to be a paid up member.

... but the lack of ladder matches is a concern.

What we do not want to see (and will not tolerate) is dMw pulling out of matches because we can't raise a team.

That's the bit I was getting stuck on.

Being in an organised team takes effort, which hasn't been apparent in the ladder matches.

I guess the answer is we can't stop people forming a team and playing, but we can say it's not dMw. If they prove to deliver over a period they then become sponsored?

I can't commit to playing or organising at the moment, but I would help.

We can't get people for the matches and ladders we currently have in CoD and CSS, to add more into the mix is just asking for trouble imo.

I'd rather we don't do anything than do it half-cocked but will support and do whatever I can to help should it go ahead.

Righto having hit a dead end. Here is my sugggestion.

Match night will be Wednesday, 8pm-9pm. I'm happy to admin it or take part as neccssary. If we can get 4/5 people to commit in here with contact details and I can do the chasing from our side.

That way we can see what the commitment is like, if people turn up for 3 or 4 weeks with no issue then I think we can go ahead with it. I have no intention of hunting for people or chasing through friends.

I'd suggest at 8pm on Weds 4 admins turn up on the server. If the other team can't organise itself then we know it's a write off. If they can then we are proved wrong and we have a goer.

Noted sir, Sulky has PM'd me and offered to side with us if needed. I think he may need a break so it may well be me, Oldie, Lib and Sulk's. Failing that KKND as the other foruim admin.

We'll see. I haven't seen any progress to them getting together so it's probably doubtful anyway.
