Kunos Simulazioni launches public v1.1 beta programme and announces special price!

Kunos Simulazioni has decided to launch a public beta release programme as the team works towards the release of v1.1 of the netKar PRO driving simulator. On top of this, Kunos Simulazioni has decided to launch a special price offer for the netKar PRO software until the end of August!

Public beta programma in 3 parts
The goal of the public beta programma is to have the software tested on a multitude of hardware and software configurations before the final release. This will make it possible to identify and fix possibly hidden bugs and other stability problems before the new release receives the 'final' status. Also, it allows everyone to join in the development phase and see what new improvements are coming to the simulation.

In the upcoming period, the team will release three beta releases. The first (1 of 3) release will contain a brand new interface, a new central server, a new audio core and a lot of other improvements.

The second release (2 of 3) will bring the brand new Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corsa to the public beta programma. Also, a brand new track called 'Aosta' presenting a massive 15 configurations will appear in the second beta release. Also, this second release will contain bugfixes for issues reported in the first release.

The third and final release (3 of 3) will be the Release Candidate and will only contain bugs fixes for issues reported from the first two releases.

Using this approach, the netKar PRO development team is confident that the brand new v1.1 will be very stable upon final release and hopes that all customers and potential new customers will appreciate being able to be part of the development and testing of the new version ... and in the meanwhile having the possibility to take a sneak peak on the things coming to the simulation.

Price offer in August!
Instead of the regular price of €36,-, netKar PRO sells for only €19,90 until the end of August! A great discount.

This offer means that you can now get a full netKar PRO license (including unlimited multiplayer racing) for less than 20 euro! And remember, this is a one-time-only payment.

Of course, for this price you also get netKar PRO v1.1 includes the Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corsa and the brand new Aosta track, on top of the already existing content from v1.0.

You can buy a license from the netKar PRO shop: http://www.netkar-pro.com/shop.htm

Expect the first beta tonight/tomorrow

Damn! I was going to post that! :sideways:
If you've been holding back from getting the full game, do it now! It is well worth it! €19.90, you can't buy an ice lolly for that. :lmfao:

Kunos has at last seen the value of public beta testing as per LFS

You recommend us to buy that, seing what happened with the latest test patch release
I don't think I trust Kunos enough for that seing his records :D

Good discount though. Even tempting.

So let me get this straight. If I cough up €19.90 - money that I actually don't have to spare right now - I get a full license and I get the Abarth right away? Or do I have to wait for the final version to come out for the Abarth? 'Cause I'm not really interested in the other single seaters as they aren't my thing, but that Abarth really does look good. Plus I just absolutely love the Fiat 500 ever since I had one as a company car.

Mille Sabords

No Abarth in the current test patch V1.1Beta1, that should be in the 1.1Beta2.
Better wait until it's proven good.
Offline so far, sound off - no major glitch yet but V1.03 was already performing well.
Download and try - The F1600 available in Demo is a non downforce single seater, that can make things interesting.
Major issue in 1.03 was netcode (collision detection, lag, unstable servers) - offline trials were always interesting, good FFB and setup possibilities.

Ah, then I'll hold off on buying it for the time being. I'm happy enough with the demo in the F1600 series on Race2Play.

I think it's a good step to do an open beta, downloading as we speak :)

Well I like the new tire sound :)

But I have a little problem, I can't start the F1600 anymore :D
First test run went ok, but there seems to be something wrong after I re calibrated my wheel :S

ps. I did find some other bugs already, used the in game bug report form :D

You are not alone. :sideways: Try Crema first. Oddly enough, I and many others, found that it worked ok at Crema then was ok elsewhere.

Katsushika Matsumoto

mmm it looks like it only works at crema  no other tracks though

Well i'll give it a rest for now.

Yup, the 1600 not starting is a bit of an oversight to say the least :D

Can you report bugs/missing features/stuff you'd like to see in the thread at RSC as well please.  The more people that report the same stuff/complain about the same things in that thread the more chance we have that Kunos will do something about it.

Will do :D
To be honest it gives me such a good feeling that there is now a open communication with the person who is actually working on it :) Let's hope we won't be disappointed.

Things are always so much better when he bothers to talk to the community.  A little communication goes a long way. :)

Historically, that's all you get...a little. Don't get too excited, he'll disappear shortly. :sideways:
