I'll need help here probably.  So apologies extended here for any overambitious overtakes or timid early braking.

No worries mate, I think we're all familiar with you and your style of driving :) You always do your best to stay out of the way of the faster guys, so that's a good thing. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't fight for your position, though, even if you are slower than the guy behind you. You just ask Doorz; he can be a real pain to get past, even when he isn't fast :D That's part of racing :boxing:  You should never feel intimidated by a driver coming up behind you. Especially on the dMr server; we're all gentlemen after all! :flirty:

That being said, last times I saw you on the server I thought that you did a good job of keeping up, so you may not be as slow as you think :)

One of the best things you can do is ask for help when others are on the server ..... I know I'd be glad to spectate a few laps and let ya know what I see .....

Spatial awareness. Without it you're fighting blind. I find pitspotter (part of LFSRelax) a great help in knowing what's around me.

You've come on loads since you first appeared on the server, If Doors came back I can see you two tussling for position, and bad jokes :D
I've found it comes in stages of revelation so just when you think you can't get any faster you'll discover a new line into a corner or a handling quirk, with each small leap you gain a bit more confidence.

From what I've seen, don't stamp on the brake peddle, it upsets the car, try pressing progressivley upto about half/three quarters instead. Also to get used to a new car, chuck it around to find how it reacts, I had my car control revelation on the rallycross circuit.

Any one of us will be happy to chuck you over a set that works so no need to worry about messing with the car setup just yet, adapt your driving to match the set first.

If I have time I usually watch WR replays and what's even better: I upload my hotlaps to LFS World and compare my best times with WR hotlaps or with the ones that are just slightly faster than mine with the Hotlap Analyzer.

I've tried to use Pitspotter a number of times but could never make it work. Using Oldies link I tried again this afternoon. After playing with the cfg file, I have it set up as I want (too much info duplication with Airio before) and what a revelation :yahoo:
Will try it properly tonight :D
To all those I've cut up in the past (unintentionally) I apologise. :norty:

I can't help but think it would annoy me to have that voice say "car low/high" all the time. Maybe I should give it a try. Is it easy to set up?
