There are only two maps in Arma II and you have them as part of the install.  The missions are defined server side and so you don't need anything extra on the client.

Group chat? Channels? This could be a problem.  Is there a sign language option for when I can't figure out how to send a message? :g:

Benny

Double tap Caps Lock..opens up the comms channel and you just talk. Then remember you are talking to the missus/kids/walls and double tap it to make it go off again. Then press to talk, same key.

I'd suggest you don't rebind, it's a pain in the ass

Great game last night with Benny and Armitage, took me a while to figure out what was going on but I like to think I was useful in the meantime (for locating minefields and so forth ).

The teamwork is great and would be even better with some more people - I can see a lot of potential for coordinated attacks, particularly on missions where objectives are linked but in different locations (disable generator at X to cut power at Y for example).

Would there be many people available on Saturday night for a session?

This sounds like my type of game, but I am not sure my PC would run it.
I'll get the demo and try it.
If its on Steam and it works I could be up and running in time for Saturday night session.
