I can probably be there....until the David Haye fight, so I'll need a 25 second break.

My PC runs it and it's crap. 3850 graphics card and a 2g processor with 2 gig of cobbled together ram.

I honestly don't think this game is that demanding graphically.  Some of the effects are very pretty, but in other aspects it's not what I'd call 'a looker'.

It would probably be quite a flop (rather like OPFP2) if it weren't for the extremely open-ended nature of the game and mission based co-op.  Once we try out a few more missions, I quite fancy having a crack at making one. :)

I think my crappy processor will let me down but if the demo works ok i'll get it

:)

Just for anyone like me who is wondering about this game its available from G2Play for Ã,£9.20

For reference the demo ran terribly on mine.

GO into the advanced options for graphics and turn pre-processing to low.
Also, turn head bob down to zero.

I've managed to connect to our server ... it went downhill from there.

What do I do? I seemed to be creating stuff. Can we have an old duffers idiot guide please?

from my limited knowledge

on joining the server you will be presented with the CREATE A GAME menu.

select which MISSION you would like to play and hit continue
this then takes you on to the VOTING LOBY where you can see what others have opted to play.

once the time has elapsed, the most voted mission gets selected and you then go Into the MULTIPLAYER SETUP
this is where you can choose your players class (ie sniper, rifleman, demolitions...etc)

after selecting a class you will then move onto the MISSION BRIEF and then into the game :D

hope it helpS :)

If people want a walk through, albeit a crap one from me, it's worth grabbing Whitey, myself or Arm and having at least one person on who knows what to do. It saves all the keyboard nightmares and makes it much easier.

I'm normally on Steam if I'm available.

Away till Sunday but I'm really keen to get on again. If there's anything going on next week I'll certainly be up for a bash.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Just read Zootoxins post about a demo night?

I can be about from around 8 I think.

You'll be pleased to hear (Armitage) that I turned off the generator in complete silence a couple of nights ago on my own. Only two soldiers had to die as I snuck in, switched off and snuck out again.

I'm thinking one does that while a couple cover the base up the hill and we could polish off the first two parts of the mission with relative ease.

I found that if you have a few people engage the north entrance to the airfield, one person can easily sneak round the fence to the west and kill the power at the hangar unnoticed.

Also while playing with Sulky last week there was a grenade launcher in the troop base on the hill.  I've not seen it there any other time, anyone know where it comes from?  Anyway, I set off towards the airfield only to hear a small distant thudding noise, momentarily followed by earthshattering explosions flying over my head - seems Sulky was trying to use the grenade launcher like a mortar.  It didn't seem very practical as he was probably over a mile away from the airfield at this point, but by climbing to the top of the overlooking hill I was able to guide Sulky's rounds so that he took out every plane, heli and patrolling troop on the runway. :roflmao:

Was a very fun tactic, and when combined with someone spotting/sniping on the hill and an assault on the main gate I think it would ge a good way to clear the airfield in record time. :)
