ARMA II Game on.......

We're having a session on the ARMA II server for everyone to give it a try from around 7:30 until it's time to move to Meathook for some CS action.

I have uploaded the Sim HQ co-op mission pack, so we should have a mission that will work for however many people we get on.

The mission we know best is a 12 player so we will probably stick to that one unless I get a few people telling me on Steam Friends that they can't connect, if they do we'll stick on a bigger mission.

The server is on 77.108.129.45:2302 however if you can't see the server or connect then try 77.108.129.49:2302 :blink:

Please make sure your voice comms are working, they are not optional in this game!

We played through most of one mission but then we started having connection issues on the next one that wouldn't resolve even with a server restart. I'll be doing some testing today to hopefully get to the bottom of the problem. There were only 5 people playing though and we could have done with a few more.

We do need more, but it was still a good game, I like to think Del and I ran the show with our flanking maneuver on the airport.

Just to show what you are missing

Mission Brief:

This is a typically special force mission. First, you have to infiltrate the island Utes by boat. Ask a contact person and gather military documents for further information. Manipulate several electricity generators to shut down the lights in a troop camp and of the airport. Use the cover of darkness while you attack them. After neutralizing a pilot crew of a sophisticated aircraft you need to eliminate a general. But be aware. As soon as he is informed about your presence he will try to escape. Generally, the whole island is loaded with Russian troops.

The key to success in this mission is teamwork, darkness and silence.

Mission features

- Coop mission for 10 players at maximum
- Camera sequences
- Dynamic written communication with Crossroad
- Infiltrate the island in the dark by boat
- Dynamic generation of further tasks
- Neutralize several important persons
- Target person tries to escape
- Evacuation by helicopter
- Respawn possibility
- Language: English
