Star Trek Online MMORPG - 5th Feb 2010

According to the developer the game will launch on 2nd February 2010 in the US and on 5th February in Europe.

Closed Beta is currently underway. These videos are not new, some go back to the previous developer, but they give a good idea of what is due to come our way next year.

Apparently it's not great. I asked his what is bad and he replied:

"animations... interface... plot devices... intuitivity"

He's usually pretty spot on when it comes to opinions with games, I don't think this will be something I'll look into any more. Maybe The Old Republic will be better.

Loved Baldur's Gate and Mass Effect and now I'm really starting to love Dragon Age. Can't pick faults with their track record.

I've heard only bad things about this MMO. I'll certainly wait till there are proper reviews before parting with any cash.

I've been playing this the last week since it's now gone f2p & it's on steam, it's alright as it goes, reminds me of the battlestar jobbie, but seems more polished.

Been playing since 25th jan its great and I can see why people said its not worth paying monthly for but as a free game its good bit of fun!
