/rant on

Is the community really hit a halt in the chain of evolving, isnt it the communities goal to give the players the best possible experience on our server..
This goal gets rather hard to accomplish if admins and section heads arent active..

Examples: Cod 4 section head is Armitage which hasnt been active for a while, MAYBE its time to swap the guy out for someone who has the energy to move the section onwards?

And why do we have admins in css that hasnt played more then once the last 6 months like Sadako

This is nothing personal agaisnt that admins mentioned..

But we need admins in the sections thats willing to get things going! If a admin / section head ends up tired of his job, maybe its bloody time to step down! instead of going afk for weeks.. that is not in the sections best interest

/rant off for now

Good points. A lot of what you've mentioned is inhand. Expect an announcement soon.

No probs here, I was taken off CoD and am happy to be off CS:S if someone could do the honours.

No need for the rant, a reasonable statement.

I agree although you didn't need to have a rant you could have just posted it :)

As Oldie says - there are some changes in hand - imminently in fact.

I'm also happy to be off the CS admin books. (The only reason I stayed on was that people see me online and tend to ask me to do stuff).

Anyways, change is in the air.

I know this may be a little controversial. But I think we should take a look at CS and if it still disserves a slot as a supported game.

As they said Kreg, no need to rant, just post the comments for debate, the more contributions the merrier.  Post before you feel it gets to a rant stage please, it's then easier to discuss *with* people as opposed to using this section to let off steam.

Admins for a specific game are down to the Section Admin for the game and yes they should be reviewed on a regular basis.  Perhaps we can use this as a prompt to do just this.

Oldie also referred to an announcement and I am pleased to confirm it was just posted in the News section.  It's been in the works for a while, but we only just got the finals bits sorted to make the announcement.

Ive got some stuff in the works, im a member of a different semi tactical community too, which is shutting down by the looks of it, and their css players is looking for a new place to spend their game time, just working on enlighting them in the greatness of our ways

Their old site is shut down, so the bulk of them created a clan called Fade 2 black, which i currently play CoD4 with still just in the works and on the down low, but doing my best to get css up and running again

Well if they have a similar gaming ethos to us as you suggest then great if we can get them onboard.

Good work Mr Kreg :thumbsup2:

kregoron

they dont, but they dont seem scared off by our rules, and by chats ive had with em, they seem intrigued by the TCS way.. and ofc if they were to come play css with us it would be under our rules as everyone else..
It wont happen overnight but will take a few more days
