please be honest, if there isnt the support in a community, then it might be the end for this game.

Getting several pm's each week, people asking how we can resurrect css, and how we get more people in, but still half full servers most fridays.

I play it at the LANs but otherwise there is always something else I'd rather be playing. That and the fact that I don't play computer games on a Friday night.

too be honest i love cs but because i play other games now, when i randomly join on a friday i get nailed by the regulars and give up.

I have so many games on my hand, and cs:s isn't the most fun of the lot, so yeah I play it a bit less (did try to get a group going tonight, but then several left for L4D2 versus, and well, I hadn't played that yet, and it was more awesome then cs:s has been in the last 1.5 years

)
Plus, cs:s was awesome because of the players that play it (I have no cs:s fun outside dmw servers) and well, if those players play cod4, wow, or L4D then yeah, I'll pick the one I fancy the most at that moment

@ sulky, giving up because you get nailed by regulars, thats a bit, weakish, but hey, I can't judge you on that

the server is actually looking better now then it was a month ago, but we will see what the section decides when poll time is over

My internet with Virgin media is so sketchy I can never schedule online play. When I do play I don't mind CS:S but there are other games I'd prioritise above it. Still haven't played L4D2 online through a mix of poor internet and disinterest.

Filling my time with Zuma, Dragon age and Batman till it's sorted.

I prefer to play either LFD2 or COD4, CS:S seems out of date and maybe it will be turned around next year with the new release.

The new release should hopefully liven it up a bit. I still play on a Friday night, but on other nights its COD4 or L4D. I only find it enjoyable if there is about 6 a side as well. Where L4D only requires 6 players for a great game and 8 makes it awesome.

Had a great few games tonight though.
