Unfortunately it also requires people to learn the squad control features, which would possibly be a nightmare on a Tuesday night run with so many of us.

Perhaps we need to drag people onto the second server to learn it whilst using the main server for games. But as tonight is one of the main nights, we'll have to play by ear.

Prove me wrong everyone, because I quite like the new maps.

I should be there tonight at 8 if I can get this documentation done in time.

I am happy to go to the "crèche" server to learn more about controlling large squads as I am still new to ARMA.

Looking forward to tonight =).

Yeah it is a bit sprawling, I think we need to tighten it up as we, had so many people making thier own plans and no real direction.  But saying that some nice communication between you all and it is a good way to start learning the command structure.

Hope school is not too hectic mate good luck with it.

Hey Gents, this evening I believe Dom will be played again and we have been discussing it in the officers mess. It seems to be popular and with some tweaking it will be even better I am sure.  So thanks for the feedback.  

So the lay out tonight .....

There will be one supreme commander and his word is gods :)

There are some ideas with the coms that are going to be tried out tonight, so that we can get control of this wild beast of a map.  So have fun but keep the chatter to a gentle breeze as if it isnt, you are likely to be told radio quiet.  Just remember it isnt the leader being mean to you it just so we can complete the mission and the person running it needs to be heard.

I am not in attendance this evening so leaving you in the hands of admins :)

Enjoy it and let me know how it went.

In the absence of Sulky, some TK'ing on a bombing run needed to be performed.

Also Benny said something about photo-shopping a screenshot to make it look like he'd not died those 13 times.

Agreed, great games and the coms is really coming on, still a few things to work on but overall really good.  And we managed to take the first area quite quickly thanks to Libs Apache runs :)  and some great squad work from us grunts.

So, brace yourselves...

I was tentative about joining last night, I've made no secret of the fact I don't like large numbers on the server, however I finished what I was working on and jumped on.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, teamwork was superb, squad leading from Toby was exceptional and everyone did as asked. Cover from Davel, air cover and spotting from Liberace, everyone else advancing in waves and two towns cleared. Very well done and very enjoyable. Did anyone mention that I didn't lose a life one?

I may drop the respawns to 2 in future :) those that die can go onto the second server which is there for you juniors, I'll be on the main server, alive on my own ;)
