Well, now my pccharger is borked... It wont give any power to me laptop, which is the only pc I can play games on. I've ordered a new one, 13 days ago, but no sign of it in the mail, and when Oth called today to hear where it was, they had no idea. They said it was sent from UK, but had no idea where it is, or when it'll be here. So I will have to be offline till I get it, and I am swearing loudly atm... so, F=(#%)U/#)Ã,Â¤/") pc!

Whats the model / part number of the adapter? Have you thought of buying in a generic one?

lol, it is a HP model, yes

HP part no.: 463553-002 (replace by HP spare: 463955-001 HP-AP091F13P 3SELF)

Input 100-240V AC 1.5A 50-60Hz
Output 19V DC, 4.74A (90W MAX)

HP has ordered her a spare one, so that one is on its way. However, they have NO idea where it is, nor have they any way of tracking it, because they "lack the proper information to make the enquiry" (thanks snokes

Ill assume we will have it within 7 days, It HAS been xmas and all, so I will give them a couple of days

Hopefully, she will be back with her computer shortly, and we will both be stabbing and shooting you guys soonish!

Hmm a friend had probs with her HP laptop power-supply. It went putowie and haemorraged it's internals. They sent another and that also went pants. She then decided to get a Mac.

Seriously tho, Oth called HP today, and the adapter is on the way in the mail, so I believe I will get it during this week, so I will MOST defo be on next monday! Be ready to knife me!

UPDATE:
18th of December. My pc-charger is dodgy. We call HP and order a new one. They sent it the same day they say.
5th of January. Charger is completely FUBAR. No Power at all. Still nothing in the mail from HP.
6th of January. We call HP again, and wonder where the charger is. They have no idea. We are told to wait.

12th of January. We call HP AGAIN. They say its been sent, and should arrive within the week. I am at this point getting impatient, I have NO pc and has gone totally cold turkey. In the evening I realise that Oths charger could've been used all the time, and I have been cold turkying for weeks without reason. Now I discover my battery is also FUBAR, and need to order new ones there too.

19th of February. We call HP AGAIN (!). Silence in the phone for a minute on the phone after we present our case. "Oh... thats.. a lone time ago you orded that... We'll sort it out. New battery? Not to worry."

Today (26th of February). Personal delivery from China, two packages. Charger and battery.

Its been an ordeal! But finally my pc is all sorted.

To sum it all up: Its all just FUBAR!
