WIP List #2 - new content

I'd like to start gathering here the new content ideas that we had from previous discussion to see what we would like to include in the new site.

Can I have a volunteer to plough through the old threads on this subject and give us a summary of them in a succinct list so that we can start on them please?

All i was able to find in my search anyway was about the dmw contacts and dmw member video ideas i brought to the table earlier on and the ideas that sprung from that.

• I don't mind working on, dmw contacts so who each of us are and who to  contact when you have any problems can also do a small bio for each as i  practically know everybody face to face.
• I think a welcome to the community from yourself TL and OB inside a  video would be great in the downloads section. We are a personal  community and we all know everyone face to face. Its also a great way to  show that we care about new people and that we are all approachable.  Section admins could jump in with their own videos too. If you feel this  is something we want to do we can shoot the videos in a couple of hours  max at the lan providing we get the scripts ready before hand.
• It's close. I just want a way of clicking a game and seeing who plays  it, who admins it, and how to add them on Steam (and possibly MSN).
• There is actually a contact page already, but it needs linking to  badges as it pre-dates the badge system introduction.  Posts split out  to keep WIP thread clean.
• That way if I want to start a game it makes targeting the invites a  little easier and will encourage me to add some people to my steam  friends list. I suppose it could all be done with Steam groups for each  game etc instead.

If we are going to move on no.2 i would need to talk you through what i wanted to do and where we could get hold of a suitable camera.

I want to do it this lan preferably so the content is done as the next lan may be too late?

As the LAN is next week so if we choose to go for it we need to get the scripts and camera organised.

Let's talk about it at the LAN, I'm not sure a drunken admin is the best advert for dMw, so let's get drunk anyway and then discuss options.  Personally I am not too keen on it, but that doesn't rule it out.  If the view is that we should do it then of course we can make some arrangements.

My apologies for not replying sooner, April is the tax-year end and my busiest time of year so my forum time for the last 6-7 weeks has been way lower than usual.

I think this was mentioned in the previous thread, but as a suggestion anyway, is there a possibility of a 'shout box'? (it would help to inform members and guests that a game is going and help fill our servers)
