Server Change Requests

Each install has its own Public folder, that's what I meant, so he can use his own and then post the link to it.

Open you dropbox folder you will see folder call public. Place the folder in there then when it is uploaded, right hand click you will see a dropbox option highlight that another menu chose public url (or words to that effect) then copy that in to a pm or on here.

Please can Chainsaw be made a steam group server?

Ice pick is but chainsaw isn't.

PM received from Sn00ks asking for the changes but when I checked the config for Chainsaw it is pointing at our custom banner and motd. I've added a couple of lines in the startup script to copy the custom files to the host.txt and motd.txt just in case it's ignoring the cvar (but if it's working on IcePick then it's the same on Chainsaw). I have added the steam group to the config and restarted the server.

The server is now showing the banner perfectly.

It was a versus server but is now a campaign server.

Might be worth keeping it a versus server due to the amount of traffic it receives as the former.

I haven't changed anything in the config to do with the type of server. All i set was the steamgroup and changed the startup script to copy the motd and host info.

Apologies but I can't seem to upload my own public file..

In DropBox, I've created a new folder called procon and dumped the procon files therein.

Can we schedule some time tomorrow for setup etc. ?

Give me a call when you're ready Ninja, I'm at home all day today. Re the dropbox file - move the Dropbox folder into the 'Public' folder within the Dropbox folder, then right-click on the Procon folder and get the public url. I can then use that url to download the files to wherever you need them to be.

Thanks for kicking the RO2 server earlier OB.
The reason was that Snokio was getting denied access by steam (!?), and we wondered whether a restart would help.
It did

The problem is that the web rcon went down and we couldn't change maps etc.
it's still down atm so maybe it too needs a kick.

The Web RCON stuff for RO2 isn't a seperate package, it's part of the game files and to restart it, the game server needs to be restarted. I'm going to restart the Game servers/forum shortly so hopefully that will fix it.
