I'll leave it to the comp guys to decide if they want pw removed.

Thanks :)

Last night we tried disabling SourceMod to see if it made any difference to the lag issues.
It didn't.

So if we can have a vanilla server set up for us, we can see if that has the same issues.

I'll get on it.

I've copied the config from Boomer for round time, money, warm up etc.  I made sure it didn't have anything to affect performance (rate settings etc).

Blunt

Vanilla is running nicely atm.

Next step, can you enable 128 tick please.

thanks

I just read your post regarding the Vanilla server.  The idea of this server was to keep it clean (Vanilla) to help with troubleshooting (now and in the future), not to start installing mods on it.
Wouldn't it be a better idea to disable all the mods on Boomer now that we know it's not the server and to enable them one at a time to see what is causing the issue?

I've enabled 128 tick on the Vanilla box startup but it'll need a restart.

I thought the idea was to try each change that we've made on Boomer one at a time and see which one is the problem
We have tried disabling the mods on Boomer, it didn't seem to make any difference.

For clarification, Metamod and Sourcemod have both been disabled on Boomer and the problem was still there?
They are both currently enabled.

Might be easier to have a chat on TS.

p.s. The Vanilla server has been restarted with -tickrate 128

The problem with Boomer has been narrowed down to it being 128 tick rate.  It was put back to 64 tick and I have set up a Vanilla Linux CS Server to see if it's a windows issue.
The Linux Server is on 77.108.135.2:27031.  It is set to 128 tick (config copied from Vanilla Windows Server)and I've been testing it out with bots and it's been really smooth.

Blunt, Can you please do some testing on the server and let me know how it goes.

Blunt

Thanks Whitey, I'll try to get a bunch of us on it tonight.

Edit: Steam tells me 77.108.135:27031 is invalid IP. HLSW can't see it either.

Sorry, I missed the 2 off the end (77.108.135.2:27031).  It's the same IP as the current servers, just a different port.
