How is it going with the server Blunt?

Boomer is running pretty smoothly now, we're planning to try vanilla server maybe tonight to see how that behaves, I'll report back.

Since we've messed about with the server to try to get rid of the lag, our custom maps are cycling and we're not getting any classics (official maps) unless an admin changes to one.

Could you please make it as it was before, with the classic rotation and the customs on demand.

Is it not working through the rotation as per the Steam Map Collection?

I've just checked and the startup command is still set to your map collection.

Previously it would rotate through official maps and we would change to custom map from the collection.

Now, it is rotating through the custom maps and we have to manually change to Official maps.

This is the convo I had with pnuts earlier

we never added them workshop maps to a maplist or mapcycle file
I think that should be easily fixed

We're using your map collection on the server (180866191) so if you change the collection then the maps should change.

I haven't changed the collection since before we fiddled with the server settings, as I said above, we could still play on maps from the collection by manually changing to them, but official maps rotated as the norm.

Oh, and while I think about it, could you please make no peanuts a steam group admin?

The easy way to do what you want is to add the official maps to your collection.  I can remove the collection option from the startup command if you are certain that's what you want but remember the issues we had last time :doh:

Can someone give our 7D2D server a kick? I think there's a hotfix to apply as well please.

It's not one on the server control panel, so it will need a server-type hexpert (like Whitey or OB) to intervene and give it a kick!

Huston, we have a problem..

Oldie kicked it and updated but I can't connect. Error message on retrieving server details.

I've killed the process and restarted it using the "startdedicated.bat" file.  I've not touched 7D2D before so hopefully that was ok.

That's what I did last night after updating it. Usually works fine after that.

Ninja posted this yesterday so it might be a port issue ...

Also, they've released a hot-fix which may need a server update..


Note that since A11 the port 26900/TCP (or whatever you set the ServerPort to) has to be opened in your firewall in addition to 26901/UDP and 26902/UDP.

So I'm off to check the ports.

Just done an update and re-start on Boomer & MH and they haven't re-started.

It may be that they will restart eventually, but I'd rather not chance it and miss out on the 1st evening of a new operation.

Would someone kindly have a look at them please.

They only start if I disable sourcemod/metamod. Think that's pretty standard after a big update isn't it?
