i will hopefully be recieving a projector lense, a bit b4 the lan, this will meen that if we have a spare pc to set up then we could have a big projector screen set up in "the chill out area" that we didnt actually use last time.

this could be used for hltv or whats eva  in the finals of the fun tournys or could b used to show films or anythink we wanted in the evening if ppl get tired of gaming and wanna sit down with a beer and watch summin.

ill attempt to have it put together b4 the lan, i have to make it all myself which is a bit of a biach.

OK, I can bring along my DVD player and then everyone can bring an assortment of DVD's and we'll have a huge screen to watch them on.

Although this may detract from the games if we get into an 8 hour LotR session :)

Maybe not a good idea, but an idea none the less. Thoughts?

Actually, HLTV is a very good idea sheepy. Beers for the sheepster!

Oh, and what about sound? I take it the projector needs an external sound source for movie sound? If so then that kinda rules the DVD thing out. HLTV would be cool with no sound though.

right,

its a projection unit that fits on to a tv/ monitor,

and projects the picture on to a screen or a wall.

i need to no sizes of monitor/tv that will b being used, in order to adjust the housing prior to the event as this will take ages
