My own personal feelings are this.

Regardless of numbers who do/ do not adopt this we should be pimping a "we will be supporting this game from the start" approach on all our servers.

Its only Ã,£10 a month currently to rent a 18 player server.

I suggest no matter what our thoughts are we grab a server and utilise it.

Ã,£10 is only one community's members donation for a year.

Its not alot to use and much to be gained.

From day one i will be working out whether it works on LAN but seriously we should grab a server i have previously linked to a host who only wants around Ã,£10 a month for a 18 player server.

It's steamworks which means I can get the game on steam without paying the ridiculous premium steam have decided to charge. But it appears the game price on amazon and play has gone up to Ã,£35, which is more than I want to pay for it until reading a review or having a chance to play it. I looks good, but considering it's based on MW2 I'm not holding my breath for it to be a good game. For Ã,£10 a month with no contract and discounts for 3,6 and 12 month pre-orders it's probably worth looking into...if it's any good.

The game just looks like it getting more & more like an arcade shooter to me, exploding remote controlled cars, really? I don't like the kill streak things in CoD as it is, & I can only see more stupidity from the in game stuff I've seen.

I'm waiting for two things:

1. The price to become reasonable on Steam. Ã,£40 is taking the mick.

2. To see if it's actually any good or not. Treyarch don't exactly have a great track record with the COD series....

When I spoke to Multiplay about BC2 Veitnam they had not even had a date from Dice, let alone server code to allow some pricing to be established during a test period.  So it's not looking positive for a 2010 release imo.

I'm probably going to buy Black Ops.

Addiitonally, re our servers: MOH is a lousy FPS, but has a truly GREAT online Mulyi Player. Fun, fast, cooperative, interesting and addictive. Why don't we try this first? It's already out there...

From what I am told, there was little community interest in this, mainly because it was a slight mod and other more anticipated games were coming out shortly after - like BO & Vietnam.

Medal of Honour is very similar to Bad Company 2 - but it's not quite as good. It wouldn't make sense to have two games supported that are so similar (considering the cost of hiring the servers).

if im honest i think i will be waiting to see what we end up supporting before buying any game.  theres no point in me buying a game that dMw wont be supporting, i would never play it
