I want one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wXx3vMy_AQ
Has anyone else got one im interested so i can lean corners easier and look around while flying/driving.

Been looking at that system for 1½ year, but i cant get my self to buy it since the game support is rather poor!

but if you play alot of ArmA, then it can be a fun toy.

Not really much game support for this. Mostly racing or flight sim and most of the supported games already have the ability to look around built in and bound to the right analogue stick of a 360 pad. If you have a wheel or joystick it might be of some use, but if you use a 360 pad you don't gain anything.

Multimonitor setups are supported in more and more games recently (although mostly flight and race games). Soon it will be fairly affordable and a better overall experience to have a triple monitor set up to give you the extra situational awareness without having to "Look Away" from your monitor. The way I see it going if 3 mid-size displays (22-24") in a wrap around way, maybe a 4th smaller display to show hud items or control panels.

At the moment a monitor is only £20 cheaper than the cheapest TrackIR 5, which means you'll be £100 worse off with the 3 monitors (and might need a new graphics card to power them), though I'm sure in time this will become more realistic.

Being a tac sim nut i only really play arma 2,swat 4, or graw, 99% time arma 2 so it may be worth it.

Thats correct Blunt but im sure OB said there was a member with an earlier track ir?

If you want it, then go for it. It's got full support for Arma I & II so it won't be a waste of money if you're into your sims. I'm still waiting for a good excuse to get a multimonitor setup, but since I play FPSs I don't think that's not likely to happen for a while without opening up the FOV and splitting that image of 3 monitors. For the moment, at least, I'll be sticking with just my TV and my 22".

Hi Logik,

I have had a TIR for years now, TIR 3,4 and 5.

I could not use some of my games without one now. Be carefull though as I have been sick many a time whilst drunk with this thing. :D

My advice would be to go for the TIR4 its solid and it will save you some money. There is no need to upgrade to the 5 IMHO.  Also don't bother with the side clip. You can use the clip that comes with it using a hat to save money. You can always upgrade later. But tbo its not needed.

I know Vincent from Naturalpoint, I can comfirm their customercare is fantastic.

Any questions just ask.

john uses track ir to play arma, ask him about it next time hes on, makes flying a lot easier when i tried his

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.
