Dead Island

Hi all,

Just wanted to draw your attention to a potential successor to LFD.

It's known as Dead Island and is due for release this year.

Would you adopt a game this similar to LFD?

A problem we have is that interest in L4D has palled and trying to get players is like trying to get a place on a cheerleader squad.
It has lost it's appeal and I suspect that Dead Island would have a brief flurry of interest and then also dissapear into the dust.

I've been researching Dead Island and apart from it being a bit too scary :blink: I am getting quite interested in it.
 
I don't think it is something we can run a server for as I suspect the multi-player will be similar to Borderlands, well I hope it is as that works well and doesn't cost anything.
 
Because it is limited to only 4 players it is difficult to think of it as a community game but for the odd night now and then with a couple of others I think it will fill the time quite nicely.
