I'm sure this is a want for just about every caster in the game and last night we had a long chat regarding who we should push forward to get dibbs on the first one. In the past we have not had a great deal of luck in getting such items for the guild.

In a nutshell rgt and rgw will have the potential to gather the bits needed for the quest line. From RGT side we thought it only fair to give TL the chance to go for it first. His work and efforts for the guild make it very difficult to warrant another candidate.
Saying that he will not always be there so we will need a pecking order of who get the BOP items as/ when they drop. Have a look-see if the quest line is something you would push for and if so pop your name forward
We decided to limit this to dps (yeh its good for healing too) the stats for dps are just too good

We also need to get some names forward from RGW. One more thing for Drea to ponder over

I think it is by far the best decision to pick TL, considering A) As you pointed out has given the most out of the DPS casters to the guild. And B) Is consistently topping the meters in caster DPS.

However, of course, I would like to put my name down also, to have the chance to eventually earn it, after TL.

Well, officers probably had a chat about this and TL has my vote aswell. Jesung is a steady raider, and deserves it just as much... But there is like... no way to avoid TL prio on this.

I think its best that we pick Hermi for going orange.

Tbh a good elemental shaman with that staff would be pretty awesome, but that's just my thought. Since no reliable ele shammy is in guild, yet, i propose a live deathmatch to check who's worth this orange goodness and who's not. I suggest to take the finals to the LAN party.

Mmm,well for RGT w/o a doubt it has to be TL....followed by Jes.

RGW....tough 1,as i'm currently thinking still, which char for main which i need to discuss with drea when hes available...so ofc i would love it,but agree with drea that hermi has prio.

Also great idea tirk...a death match at the lan for it!....there for i put myself forward for both staffs in rgt and rgw...bring it on!!!

I rather not vote for someone, hopefully we will have consensus about the players who will get the Eternal Ember and Seething Cinder.
As soon as the first player has enough Eternal Ember, we can start assigning them to the next player, while the first player gets the Seething Cinder.

Better prepare for many runs of the Firelands, also in patches 4.3+ :happy:

a side note here, if ive understood this right, living embers are needed for the chain? theres a lot of craftables that can be made that are major upgrades http://www.wowheadnews.com/blog=190841/patch-4-2-craftables . How many living embers are needed for the chain (if at all) and how will the living embers be divided after the legendary weapon has had its share?

Hubb the reason I havn't been mentioned in the discussion is that I pulled myself out of the list! Mage is not where my heart is I play mage due to it being a raid need for us

Regarding the boe drops .. I suspect they will go for dkp the same as any other boe drop (living embers for example). The Items for the staff are the bop ones. If people are going for the staff it's up to them how they spend cash/dkp to get the mats needed.
