Bump for this thread, we need some help here folks to sort out the last few who do not yet have lifts!

Post up and help out your fellow members who are forking out for an international flight to be with is for the LAN XX and DMR Guild Meet celebrations!

ok after a small discussion with the other half I should be able to help with some of this. :cheers::cheers:

Thursday we plan to get to the hotel around mid-day with a car full of PC gear so won’t be able to help out then. :crying:

Friday I would be willing to drive from the Cronwell hotel to Stansted and meet / wait / collect Azunai, Icehawk and Michelanio and then drive back to the hotel although for me to do this I would ask for a little petrol money from those getting the lift to help cover the costs and possibly a beer at the bar after. :norty:

Sunday again we will have not much room in car but providing he does not have much more than a laptop and small bag we could give Vargen a lift to Gatwick as we will be heading back to Portsmouth and could drop by there. However this will very likely be a good while before he is due to fly possibly by several hours.

For the collection of the Stansted lot could you guys pm me your flight details and possibly a brief description of yourselves so I can find you ok.

Anyone able to help out with the last couple of pickup/dropoffs?  

The only remaining pickup is Slush on Friday afternoon.  

Dropoffs, we still have 5 to sort for Sunday.  Slush's trip is a little earlier than the rest, but let's see what we can get done.

Any volunteers?

Well if nobody else can help.... I can do a run down to Stansted on Sunday. I usually leave around lunchtime.

I can't do any pickups on Thursday though - I'm going straight from work on Thursday evening.

I reckon I can get three in my car with luggage, four at a push.

Yep the Slush return trip is a lot earlier than the rest, so we really need somone leaving at a decent hour.  What time do you need to check in at Slush?

Ok, I've managed to agree with the hotel that they will run a minibus from the hotel back to Stansted on the Sunday in time for the 16:00 flights.  This sorts everyone bar Slush, who needs some help.

Is anyone passing by close-ish to Stansted en route to the LAN or able to drop Slush off on Sunday morning for his lunchtime flight?

I can make that detour however I'm planning on coming up Thursday lunchtime and not leaving till after Lunch on Sunday, so I don't think I'll be able to help.

Yes but not at those hours I'm afraid.

Happy to pick up and drop back to March Station though. Not much I know but given the hours it may be the best bet.

A Within Temptation concert has been replanned on the 29th of September. Now I have bought the airline ticket, but I also already had bought the tickets to go with my friends (and had planned to go there before even the LAN came into play).

Now I'm leaning towards skipping the thursday LAN day and go to the concert, as it is a band I really have been wanting to see for quite some time now. And thus arrive on friday morning with the 9.35 AM flight. Is there anyone else who comes by Stansted around that time? (as I take it Gortex car is full with 3 additional people??).

Anyhow. A trip from March station (march MCH right?) to the hotel itself would also be appreciated. If I filled it in correctly there is a direct line from the airfield for ~15 quid.
