SlideIT keyboard

I've been playing with this keyboard app for a fortnight now and thought it worth mentioning. It's probably the best keyboard app to have for a tablet as the slide way of typing is seriously effective. I've paid the five bucks for the upgrade to the full version and it is well worth the money. I strongly recommend this app to all android users, especially anyone looking to use their tablet to take any reasonable degree if notes.

If you try it, you'll buy it.

Yeah but I'm using mine off-desk, so a decent keyboard is a huge bonus.  Because you don't actually press consecutive keys on this one (you slide from key to key through the spelling of the word) your speed improves dramatically.  Highly recommended.  I've been stunned at how accurate the predictive is even when my sliding has been horribly inaccurate.  

This app has actually meant I can take notes real time without fear of 'getting behind with the conversation.  It's that good imo.

Thought I would bump this for info.  I did a whole day of meetings at a corporate client this week, starting at 9.00am, no breaks, no lunch, last meeting finished at 5.00pm.  

My notes from all the meetings went into my Xoom using the SlideIt keyboard app.  For me, it was quicker than writing and each time I saved the document in the office app it was synched via Dropbox to my home office PC.

Can't recommend the SlideIt keyboard app enough to those that want to write stuff on a tablet.  With it's customisable dictionary all the 'special' words you use in your business get added in no time and the results are simply awesome compared to two finger typing them on the touch screen.
