There is a thread which has been opened by a player on the BSG forums about what needs doing with BSG.

Additional Content seems to be on everyones list, with a lot of people mirroring our opinion that the thing is just too boring once you pass a certain level.

So it's been about month since anyone in our rather pitiful wing other than myself has played BGO other than to accept the daily freebie's and hybrid.

I still enjoy playing the game but I fear that enjoyment is dwindling by not being in a wing that's active so at this point in time I'm looking into alternative wings to join that are UK based and have a decent number of players who use Teamspeak.

I've not decided to move quite yet but it's pretty hard to promote the game within dMw when nobody plays it and even harder to encourage new players from within the game if I cannot offer them at least a handful of other wing members that are active. There have been numerous /FG calls of anyone got a recommendation for a friendly English speaking wing to join of late but as I said, other than the prospect of only ever seeing me from dMw in-game, there isn't much else DeadMenWarping can offer.

I feel having an active game within our community means that there are regular players and there are admins and leaders who promote the game and make it easy for others to get into the game.

So what's you view: a) Disband the Wing (DeadMenWingIt you might say), move the forum section into the no longer float our boat area or b) Continue to try and keep the game alive within dMw but it will require more activity from the current admins and players in the wing?

I still go on but nowhere near as often as I did. The frustrations that led me to look at SWTOR in the first place are still and there's no real benefit that I can see in being in a Wing. What I mean by that is where's the *real* teamwork element in this game? Yes you can help each other defend a water mine, kill an annoying high level smurf etc. but that's about it. The game is entirely designed to get players to need and hence buy, cubits and, IMHO, would need to adopt the instance/dungeon scenario before it really appealed to our community.

What happens next is up to our leaders but it certainly hasn't helped that the game leader appeared to have walked away some time ago (no offence, Lib).

I don't blame anyone from moving onto other games, the game had a limited shelf life as a team based entity and is more of a drop on drop off game with some OP attacks in between the dailies. I personally still enjoy the ease of use aspect of the game and think the atmosphere and space effects are great. I don't have time to devote to an MMORPG like SWTOR that wouldn't give me value for money because I wouldn't get enough time to play it. STO seems fine so I'll continue giving that a go.

I signed up as a Colonial on the Canceron server today. I thought why not try the other side and not pay for any upgrades. Must say the Viper feels a lot different from the Raider. Plus I keep getting excited to see a blue baddie before realizing its my team mate lol. Worth a go if you fancy it. Server Canceron. My user is McEwan, Ship name Export.
