I am not sure about Grim either. He hasn't been on for a while. He just returned lately. When he came back he was a bit annoying on the server. Talking loudly of voice comm and I almost muted him. It could have been that he missed being here but still.

The other day at Rio he was just scouting from the left roof towards hossie house. Nothing else ... except when he ran out of money ... he echoed to buy ... a scout. <_<

I gave him a null vote. You guys decide.

the times i have played with him he seems very reluctant to follow the team always just wants to scout and do his own thing
he finds it hard to follow a team leader imo

maybe if he can keep his voice comms down a bit and sart to work as a team player then in the future there could be a place for him but as he his now i voted no

I haven't seen him behave like that at all. However, if that is what is being observed then, to me, he has shot himself in the foot. Shame because the times I have been on hies team he has been good.

I have voted Yes for the following reasons:

1) He is polite and non disruptive and has basically learned to play CS with us on the Hook. I recall him saying when he first joined that it was his first time playing CS. From the start he was a nice guy, if a little young, and was receptive to advice and criticism.

2) He doesn't play as much as he used to but I think that is a combination of exams and other things youngsters have to do that interrupts CS. I always note why people have not been around on the servers when they next pop up and his reason is always a good one.

3) He only recently got a decent headset and mic and has said in the past he would not join a clan until he had voice comms. If he has been annoying he likely needs a few pointers and to get a chance to train with more experience players.

4) He is a decent team player (sorry Squonk I disagree with you) although is better as a sniper (but agree with that point). I do not recall him consistantly not following orders or being part of the team, and I do recall him backing me up and helping the team out.

5) I like him.

If he is to be given an invite to join then I belive he will be very pleased and put effort into developing his teamplay and other weapon and communication skills. I for one will help him.

Well, I think this is something one should now prior to becoming Bravo. However, we have similar scouters in our clan all ready so one more will probably not make much difference.

A Bravo member in my eyes should be a good example for other players to follow. Right now I am not sure Grim is there yet. I still stand by my null vote as I wasn't certain that he deserved a no ... or a yes for that matter.

I don't think you need to keep it to yourself. it is how you feel about him which is neither right not wrong; it is simply your feelings. I think this forum is a suitable place for people to be open and honest and feeling that they can speak freely without ridicule.

In short, it is good to see somebody exercising their right to speak freely

I,m with Albert on the issue of Grim Reaper.

To my knowledge he as never caused any bother.

He may be slightly annoying at times on voice coms but I,m sure we all have been from time to time.

Maybe one of the clan elders could drop Grim a private message and reinforce in a polite way what is expected of him on the TCS servers and maybe tell him that his progress is being watched and I,m sure he would respond.

Not being privvy to any of the decisions and alterations to clan structure and ideals maybe this is what we should say to every applicant.

As for scouting RIO is a snipers paradise if your a CT and there plenty of players on the map.

Just a thought, based on a point Albert made. Is his "loudness" on voice comms due to the fact that he has only recently got his decent headset mike combo. If he used to have one where he needed to shout a bit then it will be a while before he adapts.

Alternatively, i could have completely missed the point but I still like throwing these ideas up in the air to see how they come down
