I'll give it a few days to settle down and get updated before I have a look. I'm sure valve have it all sorted but I've had too many sad launch/expansion/patch nights to try to be first in.

I am thinking that as no preload has been offered the majority of the files will be shared with those in the beta, so don't delete the files just yet.

However, anything could happen and a valve release date/ time is rarely adhered to!

Game officially launched.

No further files to download, the beta in steam simply renames to Counterstrike: Global Offensive and after a 20 second load you can play.

Just a heads up, when my beta was renamed and it finished 'downloading' I had errors when trying to join a game about invalid model files. I had to verify the game cache, which found 5 corrupt files and replaced them.
