Leaders of the dead walking world. I am moving house this weekend and I will be with out Internet till the 21st Dec, will have phone no gaming though.

Tried all that mate even tried well if you can't do it earlier. I am going to have to go with your competition and they turn around and said no that's the earliest and our competition is lying to you.

No wifi in your area?

Why not knock on a neighbour's door and see if they'll let you piggy back their wifi for a month for some cash. Then it's just a cheap dongle thing. Well perhaps you'd best lest the missus do it - I can't imagine she looks more reprehensible that you :)

Had the idea about talking to neighbour but will see when we move in,  And the cost for a 3g with just 5 gig is just stupid money so sod that for a game of soldiers and wont be able to game on it.  Have net at work so should be ok for forum stuff.

I wouldn't worry about mobile t'internet, as you say it's going to suck. The neighbour's is an idea and probably workable. I'm sure I have a dongle thing knocking around if you need to borrow one to access it.

I can't think too many people would mind (apart from the obvious concerns). I'm sure your missus could wangle it however spurious - "I'd just sooooooo die if I can't have facebook for a month" sort of thing :)

Seriously, we have a wheely robot the size of a car rumbling about the surface of Mars and yet BT can't organise getting a bit of cable into a building for over a month. Desperate.

Well to acurate BT couldnt get a phone line in to my new place till the 8th of Jan, Zen managed to get one booked in for the 21st of Dec.  Agreed full on withdraw and full on stabby mode at work :)
