I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

The film is mostly based on the book, so most of the reviewer's criticism is because he's illiterate and has ADHD (apparently). Call me picky but if I go to see a film about the Hobbit based on said book, I won't be crying about it, when the film follows the book. It's one of the reasons I knew "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pullman would never get past the first film (Golden Compass). Can you imagine US film makers making a "movie" with atheist anti-religious themes and a trilogy that concludes with child sex as a "happy ending"?

There were two MAJOR issues with "The Hobbit"

(1) Stereoscopic 2D (it's not 3D) - for god's sake loose this eye-jarring colourless flickering irritation from our cinemas forever! Compounding bad fashion with greed & stupidity, they charge extra for this inferior format and don't offer the full colour alternative, so you must either put up with it or wait for the colour version on BluRay.
(2) The material from the book could make three hours of watchable cinema maximum. To milk it to a trilogy of 2-3 hour films is Peter Jackson taking the Smeagol out of us!

The book was pretty different to the film in many of the points he pointed out. The dragon, how Bilbo meets the dwarfs and becomes part of the collective, how he finds the ring and how first he puts it on, how he gets separated from the dwarfs. Those were points made in the video that weren't matching the book description.

Splitting it over 3 films seems a bit ridiculous unless he's going to show everyone half the stuff Bilbo missed (like where Gandalf disappears to and the battle), but then it seems strange to tell it from his point of view.

I disagree with almost everything the idiot in the vid says. Seems he just likes to hear himself talk and trying to hard to be funny?. Of 30 of the "points" he made can be swept away with the argument, its a movie, not a documentary and another 10 are irrelevant, of a couple, he has a point, but hey, I'd like to see him try to do it better...
