Blackadder4 will be going offline temporarily on Friday 19th July to allow the installation of a new switch and to complete a RAM upgrade (to 32GB).    The maintenance window starts at about 11.00am and we hope that work should be completed within a couple of hours.  

The extra RAM should allow us to increased the RAM allocated to the MC server and also leave us enough headroom to comfortably run a dMw Rising Storm server.

Thank you to Gandalf & Oldbloke for taking time to visit the data centre to complete the maintenance work and also 1to Albert for acquiring the RAM for us!

Due to circumstances outside our control we've had to reschedule this planned maintenance.  We'll advise everyone of the new date once it has been rebooked.

Maintenance work is rescheduled for Friday 19th July starting at 11 a.m.

I've just got back, and I'm sure Oldie will give more details, but the maintenance work was successful. Hopefully the minimal downtime wasn't too stressful for you all.

Our server is now running with 32GB (thanks Albert :thumb:) so hopefully any of the recent painful performance issues are a thing of the past.

We will continue to monitor but please flag up any issues you perceive so we can investigate.
