On the contrary, but using forum, its for the other cs:go admins to read and respond to.

no peanuts

Whitey has already updated some of the maps to include the good old 'no-entry' signs.  I'm starting to see the more and more these days, but they still do not load 100% of the time.
We (most of us old cs:s players) remember all the boundaries well on the standard maps.
I believe we've not set any hard boundaries on any of the new maps we've been playing in recent months on MeatHook. We've been saying use your common sense, don't rush the enemy spawn and simply follow the objective.   At times it works quite well, other times it does not and people get upset.

I've been shot in the back several times, simply because I assumed nobody would be creeping up behind me since I'd class it as OOB. Others obviously did not.  I didnt bother flagging it up or moaning about it. It's just a game and it didnt happen often enough to upset me.

Most of us have mainly been playing in MeatHook for the last couple of months, because we got frustrated with public players on Boomer running OOB (because the 'no-entry' signs don't load for them 100% of the time) and we were unable to restrict weapons and AWP's still seem to be a favorite weapon for lots of players.

How about, we fire up Boomer with only the stock maps (for now), and kindly ask whitey implement the Weapons Restrict module.

We no longer have the shiny admin Gui, written by (I'm assuming)  Sadako and whitey, that we used in cs:s, but it'd be pretty straight forward to set up some keybinds to fire off admin warnings to those players that are not adhering to our TCS rules.
We (the dMw'ers) should all remember the boundaries, and working as a team should all be able to keep the public players on the right track.

There have been one or two evenings where had some great gameplay on Boomer, and it'd be nice to attract some new players.

There'll be plenty of cs:go players and admins attending the LAN, so we should maybe consider sitting down round a table (with a couple of drinks if you like :narnar:) and trash things out there and see if we can come up with a feasible plan on how to move forward.

The shiny gui you mention, was mani mod, mildly modded by whitey, which no longer works, as its not updated. Tho there exist hundreds of mods for source mod. which should add the same functionality.

Well its would require GL to decide about the rules.

You misinterpreted. A written discussion is easier to stick by, as it doesn't get forgotten that fast.

The shiny GUI was RCONGUI and it was heavily customised for our use, Mani mod we haven't used since CZ. As you say,  It doesn't look like it's been updated for CS:GO but I'm sure Sourcemod could do what we want if we had someone willing to play with the admin menu system..

Great Idea Pnuts, I look forward to that. If the non-attending admins want to get involved or have a particular point they want to raise, could they please either PM me or make an admin thread.

Kreg, early on tonight on both Mirage & Mill you seemed to be upset with the way some people were playing;
On mirage I got the distinct impression you were upset with me. You said something to the effect, and forgive me if I've got this wrong,
"No wonder the rules are being bent with this example being set"
I had simply jumped from a raised platform onto a box and shot you the other side of it. No hopping about, just 1 jump onto a box.

On Mill, I was speccing because I was eating my dinner.
The convo went:
19:56:32 (TERRORIST) Ducky            : srsly, respect the common sense bounds
19:56:51 (TERRORIST) Albert           : I never saw anyone but bots rushing mate
19:57:20 (       CT) Ducky            : aint about rushing
19:57:52 (TERRORIST) Albert           : maybe best you explain it on the forums, because I've just been AWPd twice asking you
20:03:21 (       CT) Ducky            : i give up

and then you left.
I am puzzled what upset you, as I didn't see anything untoward going on (I may have missed it though)

I hate to see anyone not enjoying the game, but without more info about what annoyed you, I can't see your point of view.

You rejoined later and we had some great games, especially Snowcapped, which was great fun and my fave of the evening (10-10 honours even and a hard sneaky fight)
Regards
Blunt

I'm sure there's someone who is willing to spend a bit of time messing about with it.

Volunteers please?

yes i was upset, you came jumping off a roof with guns blazing off a rooftop, and later you came jumping over a few boxes again with guns blazing.. Back in CS:S it was decided we would allow jumping while firing, to eliminate rambo style gaming.
Was the rule dropped without other admins knowledge?

i can fiddle with the installation over the next week, but i wont have much time the next two months due to work projects kicking into gear. So someone gotta maintain it.

I'll show you the move I made next time we're on Mirage, it must've seemed worse to you on the receiving end! It really wasn't Rambo, I can't do that :P

Thanks for your efforts with SM. It is much needed on Boomer as you could see this evening.
Weapon restrict is a priority.

Sorry, I think you missed what I meant. We already have source mod admin menu on both our servers with the admins Blunt requested (when we started up CS:GO) already there.  What I meant was that the extra customisation I Han on RCONGUI (1 click admin messages for example) could be done through the Sourcemod admin menu system if someone wanted to take the time to customise/implement it.
