I got a new phone and was delighted to find it came with a spare battery, external charger/ dock and a stylus.

But the stylus ended up being what you see in the photo.

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

I have to say, the G2 being the LG branded brother of the Nexus 5 I find this phone to be very nice to use, play with, hack, crack, break and fix. The Stock ROM has some of the nicest features I've seen in a OEM enhanced ROM so far. The LGF320L is the model made for the U+ network which is owned by LG themselves in Korea. It has great battery life, an SD slot which I have a 64GB MicroSD installed in. The screen is very clear and colorful, the sound for 320K MP3s is awesome with a set of Parrot Zik Bluetooth headphones.

Basically I recommend this phone if anyone is looking for a Nexus with SD and Battery swap ability.

Just my 2 cents... I have the LG G2 too, but the UK model. It has no SD slot and no battery swap ability. Other than that, its a great phone. I have it on a 4G contract and live in central Manchester, which makes streaming audio and video a breeze (speedtests show download speeds of 45+Mb/s and uploads of 20+Mb/s). Battery life is indeed great, the screen is gorgeous, and the phone hasn't crashed or froze on me yet. Its slick and handles pretty much any app I can throw at it with ease, thanks to its beefy CPU.

So, the only thing I would say for those in the UK, is consider how important an SD slot is to you. For me, I stream all of my media, so only really need room for apps and games, and tbh so far I find 16GB is enough for that. If you live somewhere where this isn't an option, and you like your phone to hold your entire music and film library, you perhaps need to look elsewhere.

That swayed it for me as I like to have a load of 320k Spotify content on the phone and a few premium games so 88GB usable is great (24 of the 32 is system).  I had a Nexus 5 in my hand yesterday and found it a delight, but again no SD,  great rubberised feel,  only downside to the G2 is a rubbish plastic back but if you use a case then who cares about back panels.

I put an updated DSP Manager on and added a better sound configuration and it makes my wife's ipod sound dull,  the sound card in this phone is awesome

How did you fiddle with the sound? Haven't done that yet.

And re the plastic back, I thought exactly the same, but now mine is sitting in a very nice spigen case, which does indeed remove the issue!

For the sound the phone had impressive clarity and range but volume wasn't the best. You must be rooted of course and follow this thread for your rom

The stock roms have no Dsp equaliser and they are 4.2 Android so v2 of the Cyanogenmod Dsp Manager works,  I can upload the file to install through CWM recovery if you want.
