Thanks for the heads up. The game looks nice and the second video is quite encouraging but I can't forget even Colonial marines had a decent trailer. I didn't buy Colonial Marines and so didn't get burnt by Sega. I know they got shafted by Gearbox but I'm not happy about forgiving them for shipping a complete piece of junk and happily taking peoples money. I'll need to see some very positive reviews first.

Awesome.

It's release day DLC essentially, but at least it's genuinely extra content and not stuff they've chopped out of the single player campaign to sell back to us.

I'll admit that the whole Giger/Scott vision of Alien had me gripped from the very start, so I'm a sucker for the franchise.

But setting aside my fan-boy status for a moment - I haven't so much been playing a game for the last few hours.... as it's been happening to me. Shattered and shredded.

Do you seriously think I'd be capable of 'aiming' ... period?

Bought it this morning knowing I'm gonna be crapping myself playing this. First impressions were not great tbh. The GUI shouted 'console port' and my heart sank. But now I'm into it and enjoying it. No aliens yet so underwear still in working order.

Although that is true mate, and normally would not approve of playing a survival horror in any conditions other than dark room w/ good headphones, I have so little time for gaming at the moment, I have quite a list of games I am 'saving' for the lan

Day 1 Working on the theory of 1 set of underpants per chapter......

Day 2 Ran out of pants

Day 3 Ran out of cleaning products

Day 4 Bicycle clips and baggys

Best game of hide and seek ever. Love the atmosphere and tension. Im not one for enjoying sneak-em-ups but i'm hooked.

Wallowing in my own fear and loving it. Great game so far and have only just met the alien. Guess I truly am a wuss!
