I haven't looked at it yet, but I do worry that regular chargeable DLC is constantly fragmenting of the player base.   I'm assuming we'll need to decide if the server remains 'vanilla' or 'second assault' in addition to 'official' or 'ranked'?    There's only so many times we can divide the player base and still have enough left - it would be great if they issued the game and then released free DLC expansions for the owners of that game for the life of that game.

I agree with your point about fracturing the community (which is thinner than BF3) but most of us bought Premium at the outset so there's no additional cost now. It's too bad that EA haven't had a fire-sale on premium to scoop up the stragglers..

Overall I like the maps (as I did in bf3...).
The maps look better though, with some nice new "features".

Enjoyed last night's game. New Caspian Border was very cool and the modifications to Metro made it PLAYABLE!! Wow!
