I had motion blur on the previous hangar patch with an i4770K and 2x GTX770 SLI @ 2560x1600, but with this hangar patch the motion blur is almost entirely gone.    I still get a little when turning at *very* high speed, otherwise it's a huge improvement for me.    I expect as everything continues to get fine-tuned it will continue to improve and by release all of our PCs should be a bit faster anyway!

Fix found by a Brusce over at Reddit.

QuoteHit (`~) key to get into console then put in this string

r_DeferredShadingAmbientSClear = 1

and hit return. Then hit (`~) key to get back into hangar normal.

All lights are on.

From the evidence posted about this bug it does seem to only affect AMD GFX cards.

You can also edit system/cfg in StarCitizen\CitizenClient.

Fixed my FoV, Blur and other annoying stuff that causes motion sickness.

And this time it is just a patch. I think it said about 120mb.

30mb when logging in and around 90mb on launch.

Still need to apply the AMD render fix manually.

I thought this only affected the Freelancer and the Constellation. Something you're not telling us :norty:

Can't believe they have spent time making the toilet usable in the Constellation.

But no, I've just been playing with that hangar utility to see how the other half live, flicking switches and playing with the other weapons. Driving around in the buggy and crashing through the crates in the deluxe hangar is the most action you can have yet.

I actually feel like the Aurora was a good choice as the best all rounder on a budget.

Although my hangar could do with the bulbs changing and a lick of paint.

I agree about that but it appears from the comments in the RSI forum that the Mustang is the preferred starter ship. Personally, I think the Mustang is a mess. Forward visibility is severely hampered by the inclusion of two huge headlamps and the use of existing bodywork as landing struts doesn't sit comfortably with me (all likely to change I know but pfft).

Depends on weapon mounts I suppose, my LN has 4 gun mounts and a missile pod, still waiting for specs for the Mustang, looks like 4 guns from the concept art.

There is a poll for a sale this weekend.

I actually quite like the angles, it makes it stand out.   But I think the key thing is, as you said, this is concept art and it will change.   The freelancer had similar problems with cockpit visibility at the concept and early design stage and that ended up getting a redesign to sort out the problem.

I am still chomping at the bit to see the Banu MM in my hangar though

Re the poll for the sale - I'd rather see it not on sale for the moment, there's loads of other ships I'd rather see on sale.

I tried putting the lighting fix in the system.cfg and it doesn't work. Did some searching and the way to do it is to create a user.cfg in the same folder and put your edited configs in there. Tried with the lighting fix and all is good.

They changed some stuff then, as that's a direct copy/paste from mine.

Haven't used/updated my SC for quite a while, so it's possible.
