Trip to Holland?

I have told Scott. You're allowed to drink beer in the train if that helps . That's the same train I always take to LANs .
BTW, the train station here is just a minute walk from my apartment.

Pete and I are working on a rough itinerary. So far we have drinks Friday.

Then we have for saturday: trip to a ww2 museum, grolsch brewery and buddes beach (http://cafebudde.nl/) for drinks in the evening.

Regarding travel theres lots of trains so I will just get off my flight and grab a train when i arrive.

Prices much more on the day pete if so can you prebook for me?

Regarding flights what is everyone thinking.

I'm thinking I'll give myself a lot more time than that. Thinking a flight to Amsterdam at some point between wednesday morning and friday morning. See the surrounding area, then head for Nijverdal by train. Same train as you lot? Isn't it a bit late in the evening? I'll think I'll head up a bit earlier and help Duvel on his mission to drink all the Grolsch in Holland

The return flight on sundays is usually so expensive I'll end up saving money by staying an extra day, so I'm probably heading back from Nijverdal to Amsterdam on the same train as you lot, then another night there before sodding off back home monday afternoon

Still very loosely planned for me in other words
I'll be booking my flights when the next paycheck arrives.

Hi guys, I'll have to rethink this, as the missus has her holiday scheduled in july. She doesnt get to choose the days (quite rigid holiday planning at her workplace). Most probable she will have to take her three weeks in those days you now are planning the trip. Will still keep you posted though. Don't worry about planning the plane/train-schedules - from my city the connections to Amsterdam are quite good, and I am very used to travelling by train on my own (means: I will find ya!!)

Sorted 2 travelers lodges nearby for 8 persons, I definitely need to know who's coming over. Arranging a BBQ and so so need to know the numbers for beers and food. da_Ricci might be joining and a few others from our area so anyone around, just let me know!

DuVeL hax a.k.a. Grolsch trip is a no no as they are not open then but I'm arranging something else for it.

As I said, I'm heading to Holland a bit earlier to take in the sights of Amsterdam (Canals and museums, not partying like a wild dMw animal, which is why I placed it before the dMw event). Then on Friday, I'm joining the dMw'ers in Nijverdal. Staying there for the weekend, and possibly bothering Duvel a few extra days (Return flight to Norway tuesday evening).

Anyone planning to do more than just the weekend, keep in mind Pete doesn't start his vacation until friday afternoon, so all plans must be after that

Ho, sorry all, but you have to count me out. I do not think we will be able to change my missus' holiday. If I manage, I wil just jump a plane and find some cheap accomodation myself (I'm a seasoned traveler, I will manage). However, for Duvels peace of mind, I can be considered out. For the time being anyway.
