Cake: Four large eggs. One cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Three/four cups butter or margarine. One and two third cups granulated sugar. Two cups all purpose flour. Fish shaped ethyl benzene. Twelve medium geosynthetic membranes. Three tablespoons rhubarb, on fire.

Sad indeed. Another icon from my era gone.

Liberator

Just saw this myself, very sad news. :(

The Young Ones was part of my childhood.   Sad to see him go this young.

Bummer :(

Liberator

That's spooky, I just went and turned on the TV and Sky was on SyFy channel and just starting the film "Merlin: The Return", starting Rik Mayall as Merlin.

Blunt

Very sad news, much too soon.

A great hero has left us, one of my first introduction in to the greatness that is slapstick.  Very sad days indeed

"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon.." Terry Pratchett

Sn00ks

I remember seeing a Kevin Turvey sketch when at poly and nearly wetting myself. I was very, very, very stoned at the time.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

 Bring on the randomness!
Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

Twyst

Quote from: Ade EdmondsonThere were times when Rik and I were writing together when we almost died laughing.

They were some of the most carefree stupid days I ever had, and I feel privileged to have shared them with him.

And now he’s died for real. Without me. Selfish *******.

Comedy, the only way to view some events of reality :roflmao:

OldBloke

Give him a great send-off. Buy his single 'Noble England' and help send it to number 1 in the charts. Only 69P on Amazon.
