The original reason for the Cutlass access to the asteroid hangar was the lore and its pirate background, so it's a bit of an exception.  When you backed via both these ships you knew precisely which hangar you were getting.   Given that you will be able to access any hangar in game (and before) I personally don't see a problem.

Yeah generally I'd agree, but it's also the lore that makes giving Cutlass owners free access to R&Y that doesn't make sense...

Just seems that every package should get self land + the bonus hangar for that tier of ship, so Hornet gets Selfland & Aeroview, Cutlass gets Selfland & VFG, Connie gets Selfland & R&Y etc, etc....

The thing is most people frustrated over this now are early backers I think, with "free first hangar fees".... So value wise you'd want to pick the best Hangar as your freebie, assuming VFG will cost more than Selfland to rent in game of course, which is why it seems harsh that Cutlass owners get VFG and a $40 upgrade R&Y hangar when Connie owners need to stump up another $50 to get the same access, having already paid double to support the game, just feels like a kick in the teeth...

Not really sure why I'm bothered though as I have access to them all anyway !
