Just wondered if anyone has the knowledge of how to add the new tracks and cars I've seen added on your weekly combo pages.

I've D/L' d Goodwood and the Shelby, Just not sure what needs to happen with them next :g:

Look forward to having a few laps with you all soon

Well mine go into Documents/AssettoCorsa/content and then either the 'tracks' or 'cars' folder.
Dependent on the d'load, you may have to adjust the new folders one place up or down the hierarchy.
cars and tracks then appear ready for selection in the main memory.
Look forward to seeing you on track, not fat or bob :D

Cool, nice sale that!  See ya on track Bob!

I didn't know you could put them in the My docs folder.  I was putting them into C:\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks (...\cars) . I will use My Docs now too..always better to keep the install directory clean.  Well spotted Lame!

Ignore me, I'm a senile idiot. Seaan is correct. Did a fast serarch which showed thefiles  in the Docs  folder, lord knows why. Checked again. Doh!

Heh don't be too hard on yourself LD :D . It should work, I'm gonna try it, there is a \content\cars and \tracks folder in there.   If it's not working now I'd say it will when they release it properly.

Are Xbox controllers allowed? Very tempted but can't really fork out for a wheel any time soon.  I've played all the F1 games with it. I love racing games/sims but have always used a controller :g:

so i plugged in the logitech force gt pro and turned on the game...hmm no accelerator, but the brake works. Unplugged/plugged...repeated until swearing took over. Seem like the potentiometer was fecked, so i took it apart, checked the pedals and the connectors, rebuilt and......nowt. This was followed by more swearing, so I took it apart again but kept it connected to the computer and switched on this time.

Turns out the potentiometer had a retaining lug that kept it in place, this appeared normal when inspected at first as it must have clicked into place when i opened it the first time, but the 2nd time it was  popped out of its mounting and when looking at the lug really closely it seems a small slither of it was missing. So a bit of a macgyver moment involving some random bit of toughened plastic and glue and she works like a treat

YAY ME!!!!

ps love the game
