Random AI Attacks

Last night I spoke about creating random patrols of AI to attack the base which received a positive response.  The theory is whenever we start the mission we wont know where the attack will come from or what it will consist of.  This is something i've used in my missions and found to be very effective.

Logik

Random patrols are very well implemented in PO 3 [patrol ops] which I think was the first successful mission to get it to work with a great menu for amounts and skill levels, the other major feature which your admins would love are the squadmod settings adjustable on the fly by admin and TL [team lead] in game.

There is more than one version of PO3 available the latest with squad mod inmo is by far better, think mission based tasks [skip able by admin at any time] but and heres the real deal clincher, you wont even get to the mission with the random patrols turned to max [ground patrols dont even think about random air].
I have never tried an armoured column to objective to see if you could fight you way there though, could be fun.

Sulky, do you mean we adopt this style of play (revive system and very old VAS etc) or do you mean we try to adapt PO3 (edit, add the scripts we use) to our style of play?

Sulky we already have these maps on the servers it was requested ages ago.

They guys have had a look and adapting and to be honest it a nightmare,  its got the old Virutal ammo box which is  buggy and replacing that will break everything else. So unofortantly we can not adjust this.

Latest and greatest PO3 is incarnated and layered on insurgency it has the newer type [zeus style] ammo boxes.
