When do you guys generally get together in game ?

Hi all,

I joined here a while back initially to join the DMW StarCitizen Org, then noticed you guys also played Elite. With a Beta 2 landing this week and me a bit more comfortable with the E: D basics now I was wondering if you guys have any days/times etc when you meet up online ? Think it's about time came and joined in

There's no set time for E: D (yet) but I'll be on as soon as Beta 2 drops. Check the TS viewer on the homepage to see if anyone's in the Elite channel or, preferably, jump in the channel yourself and someone's bound to join you.

I'll probably be doing the same when Beta 2 kicks off.

As for TS, I dropped into the SC channel last night and was the only one there.  By the end of night though we had 7 of us in full SC theory-crafting mode.   Great fun chaps!

I'll be there tomorrow after work time. I'm a bit nervous about what will happen to be honest I spent so many hours on Beta 1 my expectations are really high but I want to be tolerant of bedding in and follow up patches.

Request to join Private Group - Albert. and drop me a friend request. I'll add you. Maybe something better will arrive in terms of teaming up tomorrow, (hope)!

Might try and get RDP on to my PC from work to get the update installed before I get home. Any ideas when it'll be pushed out?

I'll be there as soon as I'm compos mentis after breakfast (bacon and egg + 11 pills ) and the new download is available. This state of readiness sometimes takes a few hours.
Achieved my goal of an Anaconda and 3 million credits in the wallet this evening, so really looking forward to Beta 2 :yahoo:

I tried a 'conda briefly but although it's very powerful I didn't find it that *fun*. The Lakon 9 handles like a cow but is still the best to amass credits by trading, and then I switch to a Cobra or a Viper to get killed in (my combat skills are sorely lacking so far). I'm definitely intending to get an Asp and see what is out there though. Is fuel scooping supposed to be in this release? I forget.

Previous releases have been anything from 14:00 to gone 21:00. I was still getting emails about bug tickets I had put in a while back at 20:30 tonight so I suspect this one will go to the wire and we'll see it quite late in the day. Would be nice to be pleasantly surprised and have it waiting when I got home though

Aye, I'm only in the type 6 and it handles pretty badly - can only shudder in horror at the type 9 and Anaconda. The asp might be a good go between once we get a closer look at the stats. Fuel scooping would be neat! Frontier had scooping - I used to use it with the mobile mining platforms to really rake in some cash from certain worlds. So i'd imagine that they're going to include the platforms with the planet side stuff - so next year sometime.

Ha... This sounded exactly like my situation !

I can't be on tonight, but will attempt Wednesday and Thursday eves around 7pm ish.

I'll attemp to get my HOTAS set up properly by then too, I'm getting there with controls, just about have Track IR and Voice attack sorted, but I've been playing a lot on my laptop so HOTAS has been neglected..

BTW what do we need for friend requests in game ? Email addresses or Commander names, etc ?

Nice job Bob,

I suggest selling the big ship and the loadout you put on it and getting a basic sidewinder as they are going to reset all outfitted parts and save locations when they rollout Beta2. If we're lucky they might leave us with the ship we have, or not, or maybe just the cash value.
