Hosting servers is quite simple. If you're around and want to get a game going or if you plan on being on / available at a certain time, post here and let us know!

It's easy to get a game setup just for the dMw members so let's go for it!

Yes it is is but we're not yet and to connect to it.  Still waiting to see if there is a port list which we have not yet found.

So how does this compare to the game-play of the original Unreal Tournament which is IMHO, the best frag em twitch game ever?
Worth a punt or is this just nostalgia hype?

Hi Twisted.

Get it.. Find three friends and get the 4 pack.

Even for an alpha it's extremely playable and very fast. If you check out the Toxikk forums and look at the roadmap there's lots of cool shite coming out.

Also, there's LAN support and they will be providing the tools to the community (many of whom are UT converts) for mods and maps. I'll be playing Friday night so feel free to join us on TS. We can perhaps try that Steam Streaming thingy (whatever it's called).

Imasucker and bought a 4 pack

Got the game, fired it up, looks good!
Can't seem to double jump using the movement stick on my gamepad though, might have to use WSAD style binds on it instead.
