I've been looking forward to this for quite a while. Its a bit more slow and tactical than tanks/ warplanes and looks like good fun. I heard that they are doing more closed beta invites soon. I don't know any more details than that atm, but will update if I find any info

So is anybody on here in the CBT for World Of Warships?

Having some great games, but also some real horror shows as it's a real crap shoot when you're in a pub game by yourself as you can never tell whether you're going to have back up or not.

If you're in the CBT and do want someone to form a Division with then if I'm on I'd only be too happy to team up, currently my best ship is a T7 Nagato everything else is either T5 or 6...but yeah anyway if you want to team up joe_scummer is my moniker in WoW or indeed WOT.

I had the same issue, sadly wargaming wasn't really helpfull, claiming my key was bought off the internets. Eventho i enclosed the mail they sent the code in.
Been arguing with them the last two weeks over it.

Well I'm having a blast at the moment though I still need to get the hang of destroyers, I either have an awesome game or a die in a massive fireball within a few minutes, I think the good games are more down to the skill of the players on the other team though rather than any amount of skill on my part.

There is a test of version 4.0 this weekend though you have to have been part of the closed beta to enter but it would appear that open beta is not that far away so I look forward to seeing a few of you on there.

I still have no reply about my closes beta code. And it was sold as part of a humble bundle ligit.

Perhaps but I was careful to register as being located in North America and even tried registering through a US VPN. So I would think the code is just invalid. The error is "Invalid Code" not wrong region etc. plus I know a number of other people playing this in Europe and Australia.

Update: It seems their servers create a specific account for a region rather than a Global account. So I originally had an EU account which I changed to state I was located in the US. That wasn't good enough, they want a specific NA account and the two accounts are not linked in any way.

So I registered a new account on worldofwarships.com  (not eu.) tried to activate the code again, it worked!

Kreg, I suggest choosing a new account for the beta compare to your existing WoT account. Maybe do it through http://worldofwarships.com via a US proxy.

World Of Warships is slated to go into Open Beta on the 26th June, so if you haven't already played it then your chance to see what this game is all about is hopefully only a day away
