A little late but I can play comp whenever you guys need space.

My main is Supreme Master First Class but my smurf is LE. I would only use my smurf for pre-made matchmaking though, I tend to solo Q on my main or play with my uni lot.

Hey guys... as you know, I'm new to the game (even though I played some 1.6 about 10 years ago). Having an extensive amount of competitive clan gaming from other games behind me, I would love to jump in here at some point!

I realise that I'm still lacking the neccessary skill to compete at a high level, so I'll need some more time to develop (I feel like I'm picking up new things almost every night that I play!). I don't do much of the other ranked playing though, as I don't find DM/arms race very rewarding, so I've only gotten to a bit over rank 3. Anyways, let me know when/if you think I'm ready and I'll gladly join if there's a spot to fill

I'd be happy to play with you, the main thing is making sure you have fun while playing. In comp games you'd be matched up against players who would generally be quite a high rank if you played a match with me, Franko or any of the regular competitive players. I honestly recommend playing 10 competitive games, gain a rank and then we can think about how best to approach it, otherwise we won't really know your skill level that accurately.

Dex is right u should play 10 solo get ur rank, best thing to do if u wanna play mm to gang up with people from similar ranks so the team would be more balanced as the other team will be who u go against, mm is a lot of fun:) as soon as u get ur rank let us know:)

Ok, thanks guys. So if I play 10 competitive games I will get a rank? Will that rank be based on the team's performance or some sort of skill-based personal rank depending on how I did myself?

I have no idea have the ranking system works its quite a mystery:) no1 knows, but to get a mm rank u have to play 10 games 2 per day after that u can play as much as u want,gud luck:)

    Headshots
    Accuracy
    Grenades kills, knife kills, stylish kills or anything of this sort
    The time each rounds takes (to win or lose)
    Losing/Winning with or without the bomb planeted
    Soreboard position and/or Score
    Achievements gained during each round (if any)
    Hostage rescues or shots
    Damage given and/or Taken
    etc. (Anything else you can imagine)

Well, I just played my first competitive match tonight and won it quite convincingly, scoring at least 7 MVPs and having most kills in the team as well as defusing at least once... I'm liking it a lot so far! Gonna take me some time to rack up 10 wins (edit: WINS, not matches!) though, but structured gameplay has always been my foretake ahead of mindless zerging and people yelling at each other. I always "play the objective" and although I might not do it as everyone else would, I play for the TEAM to win!

10 game doesn't matter if is a win or not, but before u have ur rank after 2 u get a cooldown
