Arcon, Oldbloke and I are heading off to meet up with Obsydian (organiser) for this meet.  

If anyone is in the area (Gandalf, you know it makes sense!) then why not post that you are joining us and have an afternoon of beer & gaming talk. :cheers::dmw::3cheers:

Possible, though we're expecting a moving date in the next week so could be busy packing!

Hmm, might put a call in to see if we can hook up.   I was flying solo on the train, but train + car ride with company on the car leg sounds so much more fun!

it was great meeting you all, and I look forward to getting online and getting some flying in with you guys (gotta try out the multiplayer action in the Super Hornet, Gladiator and Cutlass soon!).

it was a good turn out made all the better with your excellent company.  And here's the obligatory photo:

lol - i don't know what happened to the photo. It's the right way up on my iPad, and when I upload it, it shows me a thumbnail the right way up too, but when I hit the post button, it appears upside down.

ive tried it several times but it always imports upside down. It's got to be a forum software issue. Anyone know how I can get it the right way up?

If not, then I can only suggest flipping the picture to the right way up on your PC and then uploading that fresh copy.  Not come across the problem before, so it might not be the forum software!

Good times at the meetup yesterday though, it was nice to meet you and the time went by very quickly as we all talked! :cheers:

Not sure why it inverted but I've uploaded a rotated version which appears to have worked.

Great to meet up yesterday and thanks for organising it. Impressed by how much crap we can talk in over 3 hours :D

Now that is bizarre, because when I view the post on the RSI forums on my iPad, the photo is the right way up...

And the RSI forums don't allow uploaded photos, so the image is actually linked from the meetup.com group.  Does the photo appear upside down on the meetup event?  It looks the right way up in my iPad too.
