Badges are issued to players of an adopted game. Diablo 3 hasn't achieved that level ... yet  

When a game reaches a level of popularity and activity that warrants being considered as an officially adopted game then the council will look to appoint a Game Leader and ask him/her to select an admin team to ensure that the game is run in accordance with our ethos.

So for now see how it goes and we'll listen to you, the players, to see if the game has legs.

I'm just trying to clarify things here for you and all players of non-adopted games within the community

Creating a dMw group within a non-adopted game is great - particularly on public servers. Apart from the obvious in-game advantages it allows us to demonstrate our mature, teamwork-oriented play-style to non-dMw players which we hope will attract them to our community.

What I would like you to understand and appreciate is that the person who creates the dMw group (whether it's in Empyrion, Osiris or Diablo 3) should not refer to themselves as the game leader. It implies a level of authority that simply is not there. Your specific role would be to invite established dMw members into the group and also give additional members the power to do so - normally the ones who are more active in the game and as such more likely to be available.

Protecting Our Brand

Members with the power to recruit into the dMw group should ensure that non-dMw players asking in-game to join the group are directed here to register on our forums and asked to ensure that they are fully conversant with our ethos and our member standards.

This game has 16 players in the dMw clan in game and 13 of them are active as far as I can see. That video is basically saying the devs will commit to it in the long term.

It's a fun co-op game which I go back to regularly and seems like it'll keep a certain group of dMw players interest going forward.

Best news of the lot is them bringing a "warcraft like" armory....being able to store 5 different sets for you to flick between which stores not only your gear but skills/gems/cube selections.

Necromancer does look fun to play, as does Diablo 1 in Diablo 3 - looking forward to that more for old memories really.
