'Tiger's Tales' would be a better play on words IMHO.

Blogs are a massive time sink. I sometimes work (photograph) for a professional blog writer i.e. he writes blogs for companies and businesses, who don't have the time and or ability to write for themselves. He told me his rules of successful blog writing:

  • No one cares who you are, what you do or what you think. They only care if you're interesting and ideally that you are more interesting than them.
  • You have to write about 'something' the reader is interested in.
  • You need to know more about that 'something' than they do, so they will want to read what you write and learn something.
  • Write to a schedule and stick to it.
  • Don't ever leave a gap of more than a week between posts or people will stop following you/reading your stuff.
  • Become a master of social media and viral marketing so that people will actually know you're writing something (There are millions of bloggers who are speaking to a great empty room.... no one is listening)
  • You need to write very regularly and have a plan about what you're going to write for at least ten installments ahead. He tends to have the following articles in his workflow:

[LIST=1|INDENT=3]
  • Article that has just been published - checking feedback, reader comments etc. responding to them.
  • Article that is complete and ready to be published.
  • Article that is finished but needs final fact checking (has the news been updated in the last day or so, does the article need amending?).
  • Article that is complete but needs polish and checking.
  • Article that is being written.
  • Article that has been outlined.
  • Article idea that is being checked for suitability/relevance.
  • Article idea.
  • Article idea.
  • Article idea......
