Headcorn Air Show Combined Ops 15th & 16th August 2015

Has red arrows, vulcan amongst others.

                          Kent's only Military Vehicle and Airshow a truly unique experience!
             
             This unique event held at Headcorn Aerodrome   has a variety of vintage and modern aircraft displays, on the ground   and in the air.  A family event  which includes static military   vehicles, living history re-enactment groups, arena events, military   stalls and children's mini tanks and food stalls to make this a perfect   day out

Thanks for posting this GM!   I checked my diary and the Vulcan flight schedule for the summer:  the Vulcan will only be there on the Saturday, it will not be there on the Sunday.   On the Saturday the Vulcan is scheduled to be doing three displays:

Sat 15th August   Herne Bay (Kent)   Display   
Sat 15th August   Headcorn Aerodrome (Kent)   Display   
Sat 15th August   Eastbourne (E. Sussex) Display   

So there's no point me going on the Sunday as there won't be a Vulcan.  

Saturday 15th August is also the day after the dMw trip to the Great British beer Festival, so I think I'm going to have to miss the Saturday too as my blood alcohol level might prove to be a fire risk to the static display planes. :blush:

Remember that this is the last year that the Vulcan will be flying.  At the end of the 2015 season you will NEVER see a Vulcan in the air again.    So do yourself a favour and get to see (and hear) this unique aircraft at some point this summer.  The final display is scheduled for 6th September and the full list of displays is in the below link.

Thanks for posting Ghostie, i was starting to look out for events like this to take the boys to, perfect !!  We'll be doing the Saturday.

We were at Yeovilton Air Day a couple of weekends ago.  Nothing quite like the Vulcan roar
